Thompson Creek/Lone Tree/Bean Camp Tours
This is about a 20 mile mountain biking trip through rolling
hills of waving prairie grass in a pleasant valley. A
meandering, clear-water stream accompanies you as you
pass through a prairie dog town, wildflowers, deer, wild
turkeys, longhorns and much more. The trip starts with an
incredible sunrise unless we have some clouds, on top of
Belvidere Hill. Then we enjoy a leisurely ride in gently rolling
hills in a beautiful valley, stopping frequently to enjoy and
learn the wildflowers and other wildlife we encounter.
Crossing the bubbling creek, go through the historic Hoodoo
Brown homestead, then on to Bean Camp where we'll see
and learn about fossils of the Cretaceous Sea of millions of
years ago. We could find some lesser prairie chickens along
the way back to Belvidere. There is much wildlife to enjoy on
this scenic trip.

- For just another $10, enjoy supper at Buster’s Saloon in
ribs, salads. Drinks are on your own.
